Configuration

After installing the Speckle Connector for Power BI, you must make a configuration change in the Power BI Options. Here’s how:

1. Launch Power BI on your computer.
2. Click on "File" in the top-left corner of the application window, then select "Options and settings>Options".
3. In the “Options” window, click the “Security” tab on the left side.
4. Locate the "Data Extensions" section on the right-hand side.
5. By default, the "Allow any extension to load without validation or warning" setting is set to "Recommended". Switch it to "Not Recommended."
6. Click on "OK" to save the changes.
7. Restart Power BI for the changes to take effect.
